Designed to teach lay responders the knowledge and skills
necessary to give care in an emergency to help sustain life and
minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until medical
help arrives.
STANDARD FIRST AID with CPR/AED- ADULT
(HSSFA404) Designed to train lay responders to overcome any
reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care
for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults.
It will provide the lay responder with the knowledge and skills
necessary in an emergency to help sustain life and to minimize pain
and the consequences of injury and sudden illness until professional
help arrives. Here you will learn how to give CPR, respond to
breathing emergencies, and how to use an automatic external
defibrillator (AED).
STANDARD FIRST AID with CPR/AED- CHILD
PLUS INFANT CPR (HSSFA411) Designed to train lay responders to
overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to
recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac
emergencies in children and infants. It will provide the lay
responder with the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to
help sustain life and to minimize pain and the consequences of
injury or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives.
Additionally, lay responders are taught the knowledge and skills
necessary to use and automated external defibrillator (AED) with
pediatric AED pads on child victims between the ages of 1 and 8 or
less than 55 pounds.

Designed to train lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act

life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults. Here
you will learn how to give CPR, how to respond to breathing
emergencies, and how to use an automatic external defibrillator (AED).
CPR/AED-CHILD PLUS INFANT CPR
(HSSFA207)- Designed to train lay responders to overcome any
reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care
for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in children.
Lay responders are taught the knowledge and skills necessary to use
an automated external defibrillator (AED) with pediatric AED pads in
child victims between the ages of 1 and 8 or less than 55 pounds.
CPR/AED-Adult & Child plus Infant CPR
(HSSFA303)- This course prepares individuals in the workplace
to provide care for breathing emergencies, perform cardiopulmonary
resuscitation (CPR), and use an automated external defibrillator (AED)
for victims of sudden cardiac arrest.
CPR/AED for the PROFESSIONAL
RESCUER (HSPRO101) American Red Cross professional rescuer
courses are designed for people with job-related duty to respond in
an emergency, including nurses, law enforcement and EMS personnel,
fire fighters, business and industry response teams, lifeguards,
flight attendants, and others who must take action in emergency
situations.
LAY RESPONDER FIRST AID AND CPR/AED
INSTRUCTOR (HSSFA801,3010, & HSSFA415) This 20 hour course
will train instructor candidates to teach adult CPR, infant and
child CPR, first aid, AED skills and injury control modules.
BABYSITTERS TRAINING (31400)
Designed to provide
individuals, ages 11 to 15, with the information and skills
necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the
absence of parents and adult guardians. This training will help
participants develop skills in leaderships and professionalism,
basic care, safety and safe play; and first aid. Students need to
bring a sack lunch
HIV/AIDS STARTER FACTS (3511)
Designed to provide
individuals with a knowledge base on HIV and AIDS. It will provide
skills needed to separate facts from misinformation and opinions
HIV/AIDS STARTER FACTS INSTRUCTOR
(3511I) Designed to train instructor candidates to: share
facts about HIV and AIDS accurately, non-judgmentally, and
sensitively with people from diverse groups and communities, discuss
facts related to sensitive issues such as sex and sexuality and
drugs and drug use, facilitate group discussions about HIV
prevention, and learn how to encourage people to apply those facts
to their own behavior.
Bloodborne Pathogens (32650)
Designed to train and provide individuals with an understanding of
the intent of the bloodborne pathogens regulation issued by OSHA;
how bloodborne pathogens are spread; how to prevent exposure
incidents and what to do if an exposure incident occurs.
PET FIRST AID(CNPFA101) Designed
to provide individuals with the skills necessary to recognize
symptoms and care for common ailments and emergencies. It teaches
how to create a pet first aid kit and gives tips on maintaining your
pets well-being.
Whales Tales (34911) Teaches
children ages 5 to 12 about safe behavior in, on, or around the
water.
FACT (First Aid For Children
Today)(3217) Leads children through health promotion and injury
prevention activities. It teaches safety in a non-threatening way.
Topics include hygiene and health habits, first aid, personal safety
and injury prevention. (Grades K-3).
BAT (Basic Aid Training)(3201)
Children learn emergency response skills, rescue breathing, and ways
to prevent and care for choking, wounds, nosebleeds, falls and
animal bites. It includes responses for fire safety, poisoning,
water accidents, substance abuse and more. (Grades 3-5)
Babysitting Boot Camp - Hands on activities, videos, demonstrations, fun role plays, and lively discussions. Decision-making skills and solutions for real life problems. First aid and basic care skills practice. Ages 11-15 Earn Red Cross certificates in Babysitting(31400), Adult CPR/AED(HSSFA107), Infant/Child CPR(HSSFA203), First Aid(HSSFA101), Water Safety Today(34907),and Pet First Aid (CNPFA101).
